Volunteering for playscheme is a rewarding experience and will help you to better understand children and young people with additional needs.

You can build confidence in working with children with additional needs, and improve your understanding of SEN and disability.

Volunteering for playscheme will give you valuable experience if you are considering a career in healthcare, nursing, medicine, teaching, education support, social work, psychology etc.

You can use volunteering with Breakaway towards your Duke of Edinburgh ‘Service’ component.
